s4 to s5 intake manifolds

Well I bought some used upper and lower intake manifolds...and ended up getting s5 manifolds. So now I am a bit confused on some of the whole hose routing.

Im guessing I just cap off the egr hose then. And im a little confused about the hoses on the upper intake.

on the s4 (if looking at it from where the bac valve would be) there are 3 nipples on the right side and 4 on the left, towards the back of the uim. but now on this one...there is 3 on the right and only 2 on the left. and also right above the oil injectors on the uim...there is some little gadget on my old manifold. but there isnt one on this. Do I just cap what use to go there or what?

Anyone have a nice wireup for this ?

hmm maybe i should just remove everything on the engine now ;P

Im sure with a little thinking and looking around i could figure it out...but I am not exactly confident about this kind of stuff yet, so any help would be awesome.

I am still debating right now if i should remove all emissions execpt for my bac valve. I wouldnt mind getting rid of the metal vac spider and such...especialy now that there really isnt even anything running to it hardly.

That write up has the lines going to the wrong places.

I have posted a couple times the correct vacuum layout:

The yellow lines are all the air bleeds (this includes the large spider oil injector air bleeds and the injector air bleeds) It connects to the intake tube now, before the throttle body.

So the three that still connect to the rear side of the throttle body one, is for the ACV valves, the other two for the PCV valve.

The two lines that were on the drivers side of the dynamic chamber stay there.

Do not just cap off the 2ndary injector air bleeds (as Carl's write up suggests) or reduced mileage and power will result. Also the large nipple on the middle VDI section does not allow the oil injector air bleeds to even work, so again, do not follow Carl's write up on that.

Alright sounds good...keep me updated. I am planning to just do it tomorrow. I dont think It should be too bad. I figure just hook up the stuff you know for sure and then go from there. Should only be like 3 hoses or so that would be left over and it shouldnt be hard to figure out where they go.

Do I need to use the s5 intercooler?

Well I been reading more and it seems like the s5 is suppose to be bigger and such? It really dosnt look any bigger. Just a bunch of little differences with hoses and such and no egr valve.

Well...I cant seem to upload any pictures right now..get some error saying something is wrong with the database...can someone upload them for me?

I am going to make a new thread to get rid of all the bs in the beginning and reflect my new issues...since this is not a s5 intake manifolds..
