s4 or s5 front bumper for fmic

alright heres the deal i have a s4 tII and a s5 na side by side and the s4 looks like it has more inlet for a intercooler because the s5 has larger openings for the brake ducts. my front mount is 18.5x10x2.75 and is 27 inches wide all together with endtanks and inlets (its a evo2 intercooler).should i consider keeping on the s4 because its wider or should i switch it over to s5. im looking for the better bumper for the most performance i can possibly get if any.

it does not matter because you will be cutting some of the facia away to let more air in or you will run 210' on a hot day at 70 miles an hour on the highway. Once you have it installed you will see what I mean

no its just a s4 stock bumper from my vert with the center stuff cut out, and a air slit cut into the side molding with a dremel and a drill bit. Once you do this you can't hide that monster intercooler anymore. It sticks out big time.

Yeah we are working on making this universal s4 and s5 lip out of CF for the second gen. No real time table so please don't fill my pm box with questions. I personally think it will look 10x better on the s4 than the proto type we build and put on Daves s5. Heres a shot.

use the s5... its looks a hell of alot better, same amount of space behind it, youll have to cut it anyway, and trash those brake ducts and all the plastic between the inner fender and the front facia.

I think the s5 has beter center core after you cut the grill out as you should for cooling resons. For a added benafit IMO the S5 facia is amoung the top most 3 of all front skins purchasable to date in looks.

The FMIC is not going to reach the brake ducts nor could it for the frame rails are in the way.
