My source, me, says no, the connectors are DIFFERENT and a series four plugs won't fit on a series five ECU and the two brances of the EM harness that interface with the FRONT harness are different. That's about it.

All the series five ECU have the same plugs on them and the same jack on the ECU. Turbo, na, convert etc. All.
The wires and functions in the plugs are not exactly the same though b/t na and turbo. Only a couple of wires though. Not all.
Putting a series five ECU in a series four???? Or vice versa? Or???????

neither. i own a s5 na vert. i have a megasuirt for my turbo motor swap that im building and i want to run the megasquirt on the na prior to the tII conversion. that way i get familar with it before trying to run it on a fresh rebuild. so i am going to make an adapter to go from my ms to the stock harness.. ie: cut the s5 na connector out of the ecu and repin it to a spare db37 so i can just plug it in. so i can just plug the MS in and if it doesnt work for some reason i can always just plug the origonal ecu back in.
