s4-->s5 driveshaft

Hey guys, I've tried searching for the answer, but im only on my cell phone and I can't seem to find the answer. Anyway the question is can I put a driveshaft from my 86 sport into my 90 gxl? Thank you...cars on the rack as we speak...

I have with no ill effects. Had a bad u-joint and just replaced it with what I had. Mine was a S4 d/s into a s5 chassis.

Interchangeable. You can find driveshaft dimensions in the FSMs under "propeller shaft".
