S4 to S5 dash

So I have a S4 TII and my old Dash was effed bad, anyway my buddy had a S5 GTU dash that he wrecked. I'm swapping them out. My question is has anyone done this before swapping s5 to s4. If so any pain in the *** things that come about other than the fact that I'm pullin the whole dash. By the way i already have the old dash out and my windshield has been removed (made it a hell of a lot easier)

I dont know off hand for sure, but as far as i know, the dashes are the same, the radio panel and cluster are different, but so long as you use his main dash and all your bolt ons, there shouldnt be any mods needs and should be easy, maybe someone can tell you for sure, but since no one has replied i figured id chime in

i did a black s5 dash swap into my s4. no problems but i used my old s4 dash harness in place of the s5 because some of the wiring is different (i.e. idiot light cluster) that I didnt want to bother with. they both mount pretty much in the same places because i dont remember having any trouble at all. have fun.

The S4 dash frame (metal behind the vinyl) is lighter than the S5 frame. The S4 glove box door is lighter than the S5 due to bracing behind the vinyl once again.

They bolt in and fit the same.
