S4 or S5 core?
Hey guys, well, I bought my TII, which started out as an '88, about a year and a half ago. The guy got an 89 jspec engine in it. His friend that ran a shop put it in. Well, I had to leave for 6 months for military training, I came home and had to start school right away. Well, the last few months I've done a lot of work, and noticed that everything on the engine is from the 88; TPS, AFM, ECU... but I had put an aftermarket boost gauge on, which went up to 7 PSI. The exhaust was stock, besides having a midpipe instead of the main cat. How can I tell what core I have? Is it really an 89+ or an 88?
thanks..

the only outr differences in the 89+ blocks are:
there are threaded holes above the spark plugs for the knock sensor.
the iron side housings will have an n350 mark instead of n318? or n326
if they used the 89 water pump housing it will have a plastic 3 bolt thermostat cover.
