s4 and s5 13bt... pros and cons ?
ok im going to do a swap but wondering what the real advantage of having an s5 is over the s4 aside from the compression (being 17 more hp in the s5)
i just want to have my turbo getting about 250 hp with little mods without necassirly bringing up the boost ( turbo back exhaust, intake ) .. wonder how much boost it could take stock (s4) without hurting anything compared to the s5

a mod like turbo back exhaust and intake are going to, by nature, "bring up the boost". The RB turbo back exhaust is advertised as adding 59 horsepower. But it does this by causing the turbo to boost to 11-12psi.
A s4 can run more boost (safely) because it has lower compression rotors. For a goal of 250hp, a s5 motor would work just fine and take slightly less tuning to reach your goal.
