S4 running poorly need help...

87 n/a has 175k on it with all emissions eqp. I've been searching everywhere tested most all the main components: tps, coil packs, plug wires, bac, cas(crank angle sensor), egr, and a few others, resistance checks, voltage checks, not so much vacuum checks I lost my vac pump. This is the problem:a couple of days ago it was warming up, then I go to drive and the car bogs down idle from 800rpm to just above 500rpm lack of power and a smoke puff. It was missing and the engine feels like it is trying to jump of the car.
Well I replace my plugs which is what I've done before along with my Water Thermo Valve. The seven was running normal again spanked a couple cars on the freeway. Two days later it does the same thing... What the f%*k man! I have to hold the gas @ WOT to start the engine and it idles @ 400-500 and back and fourth; and shakes like a banshee and hass a little smokers caugh. Now I'm back to square one, would like some input on what else could be causing this. Something fouling out my plugs? or emissions? water thermo valve? maybe I missed something in my naming off of the parts form above. I have to smog it pretty soon and its my DAILY DRIVER.
I know this is a lot to read and thanks for any input it would be great. Until then I'm going to try a another new set of plugs and run the tests again.

Is coolant being forced out of the overflow? if so could be blown water seals. When motor runs, pressure in the rotor housing forces gasses past the seals into the coolant causing it to blow out the overflow. That can lead to overheating and worsening of the problem.
When the motor is stopped the pressure in the cooling system reverses the process and coolant seeps into the combustion chamber making the car difficult to start, rough running and causing that puff of smoke when it does start.
It is similar to the symptoms of a blown head gasket on a piston engine.

that could be a possobility but would it cause the car to miss and shake uncontrollably? There is no extra coolent overflow and it doesn't over heat.
