S4 radio repair

I have a non working s4 radio and cassete with no equalizer and it does not power on, I'm in the process of disassembly for inspection however I cannot get the volume **** to release. If anyone has any tips or tricks on disassembly of the stock s4 radio it would be much appreciated.

The **** should just pry off. Here's a photo of the **** https://www.autopartone.com/products...me-switch-****
That plastic is old and brittle so pry gently. Good luck.
