S4 Powersteering on S5

i have an S5 FC, the previous owner removed the powersteering, i want ot put it back on, i have the chance to obtain an S4 power steering pump and lines, i already have the PS rack. will the s4 be ok on the S5? The owner beforehand also didnt cap off the inlet/outlet lines on the PS rack. Is there anyway i should clean out the internals before i attach a PS unit? thanks -alex

When you get it all hooked up, flush the system by opening the return line & sitck it in a catch can.
Then keep filling the tank as you turn the steering from side to side.
Maybe run ~2 quarts through it.

IIRC the S4 uses mechanical speed sensing, and the S5 uses eletrical speed sensing. Aint gonna work?

The S5 turbo P/S is just like the S4. (electronically controlled)

It's the S5 NA that's different.

Here's a link to the manual click here, then wait while it downloads
