S4 NA what mods to do

Hey guys I thought the motor had a coolant leand, but it was just that it was sitting for a while and would smoke it has stopped. I have been running it hard and the motor feels great my question is what mods should I do to my S4 FC. I want to do some occasional drift pratices with it, so i m looking for a lsd right now, what mods should I do to get more power for my fc. and I would still like it to be fairly realiable. what would i have to do to get the car to roughly 160-180hp I would like some pep to the car it feels sluggish, oh and it is a base model.

Thanks for any input, and yes I have done a search I dont want to port the engine I just checking if there was anything I could do to get that much power with out going into the engine.

Thanks
Tony

Not to be rude, but if you actually did a search you'd see one of eleventy billion threads about this...without the engine being ported. Try looking at the stickies/faq...there is a mega thread about making power with an NA.

You can check out the modification manual -> NA Performance here:
http://howto.globalvicinity.com/gv_w...wi=2&co=1&vi=1

There are a number of peak and rage HP improvements you can do to an S4 NA, but 180 might be difficult. Exhaust, intake, and S5 UIM swap to name a few. It's good you're looking for an LSD, because handling is really where an NA RX-7's at.

drifting?! get rid of the rear steer! buy the toe eliminators at mazdatrix for 50 bucks and worry about function before perfomance. then start by worrying about the brakes to suspension and lsd before power or speed, if not good luck brah, im letting you know from experiance from myself and from others

k&n Intake , racing beat headers, catback exhaust , straight pipe in place of catalytic converter, lightweight flywheel, upgraded clutch, removed 5/6 ports and sleeves

I have all these mods on my car , and I dont even have an lsd in my car though because its originally a base model, but I put on a 5 lug conversion, dtss eliminators, and putting on 205 50 15" kumho ecsta spt on s5 15x6 wheels.

Ive also removed all the accessories to the engine, only ones I have on it are the alternator and the waterpump to save some weight.

So I have removed the power steering 10lbs, the ac 15lbs, airpump 5lbs, and all the emissions 1/2lb, cold start equipment 1/2 lb, charcoal canisters 1/2 lb, removed all front/rear speakers and radio 7lbs, all the interior removed except for the seats 5 lbs, dash and rear trays and spare tire (dont have one). My flywheel is also 7lb lighter than stock weight also.

All of that combined is about 50 pounds guessing , but it could be alot more.
