s4 na and s4 t2 trans mount the same? searched...
so my 86 na transmission mount is completely shot it seems. I thought it was my front differential mount causing vibrations and clunking but that is surprisingly intact.
I'm wondering if I should get the trans mount because I plan on a full t2 swap (including driveline). I have an s4 t2 trans, need a drive shaft and rear end. if the mounts are the same between an s4 na and s4 t2 then I can just replace the mount, if not then I might as well find the t2 shaft and rear end and throw my tranny onto my na for now and get the mount for the t2 trans (t2 motor needs rebuild). I searched but didn't find a definite answer. I'm thinking it is the same within series since the cross members are the same.

wow, so I should change out the y blocks when I change too probably. getting expensive. I'll have to save up for a t2 rear end and the mounts and do it all at once as well as a pinion snubber at the same time. thanks, didn't think to look at store sites. I never think of the obvious.
