S4 N/A to S5 N/A Gauge cluster swap~ will it work?

hey guys I was wondering if you could swap a S5 cluster into a S4 without having to rewire the whole freakin car, mainly for the 9k RPM Tachometer the cluster has. I couldnt stand having one of those huge aftermarket 5" tachs. Has anyone done this?

I swapped an 87 into my 90...
Works fine... Although my signal light is rubbing so it doesn't click back when i turn... I have to get the dremel out and take off some plastic...
