S4 N/A Emissions removal question.

I'd like to remove the Air pump, ACV, BAC, EGR, and maybe the AWS (sounds kinda tricky). Can i remove JUST these things, or are there more things i need to consider?

And what am i all going to need for this, just block off plates, gaskets and hose caps?

You need block off plates for the ACV and EGR. Do not remove the BACV as it has no relation to the emmisions control system. AWS is for the 3000rpm start up, you can disconnect this, remove it and cap the intake mani and cap the metal tube that the hose for the AWS comes from.

If you remove the air pump, ACV and EGR, you will need to remove the CATs in the exhaust. Otherwise they will get clogged up.

You may also need to find a way to open up the AUX ports after removing the CATs.

look

You cant remove the air pump cause that's what opens the 5th and 6th ports! There is a way to modify that though.

That only applies to series five. Not series four.

Do you still have the catalytic converters? If you pull the air pump/ACV, you can melt/clog the cats in fairly short order.

You mention getting the RB header/presilencer/etc - that setup will replace the cats. If you do still have the cats, you should probably wait until you get those parts installed before removing the air pump/etc.

ya i will definately be waiting until i get the header, but if all else fails i'll just knock out the cats, and hook up the 6pi in some other way.
