s4 n/a block with a s5 turbo....writeup anyone?

i wanna put a s5 turbo on my s4 n/a block, not a noob, already checked the archives but couldn't find it. if anyone knows where i can find such a treasure that would be tight.

on a side note, has anyone ever ported an s4 intake? i'm sure someone has but, what i wanna know is if you get any gains from it of if its a waste of time.

you checked the archives..... but did you bother to click on the "search" button? Or did you read the FAQ sticky? Jeezus this is the fifth time someone has asked about turbo-ing a N/A! And seriously, do you think you are the ONLY person that has thought of porting intakes? Sorry to be a dick, but I need a drink and I'm sick...

Hey guess what i actually did use the search button, and i still couldn't find it. i don't understand why every time i post on this forum i just have to deal with bullshit from other people that don't have answers. i might have a low post count but at least all my posts don't consist of telling people how retarded they are for trying to do some research.

so just so everyone understands
-I understand that everything i have mentioned in this post has been done by someone
-what i want to know is how they did it.
-if i could find a writeup for both the afore mentioned projects that would be helpful.
-if you have done the afore mentioned and you have some helpful advise to share that would also help
-once again...i am not trying to reinvent the wheel.

and please if you're just gunna hate on this post.....don't post....that simple.

Well the reason you did not find anything is probably because you have to wade through two pages of threads just like this to find anything useful. So basically you are asking someone to search for you.......Good Luck! But I'm feeling nice, and as long as you learn your lesson:

Searching the words "series" "turbocharger" and "swap" together.....

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ies+turbo+swap

Looks like you need a s5 manifold.....and yes, you can port the intakes ranging from a streetport to a full peripheral port depending on what kinda power you are looking for. Since you are turbocharging an N/A block I would recommend some kind of port....

Once again.... sorry to be a dick.....I's be a noob too, I just learned what to search for....

as far as the s5 turbo on a s4 block, i finally found the info i needed thanks to aaron cake's website.

but i'm talking about porting the intake plenum of a s4 intake. i'm well aware of the fact that you can port the actual intake ports on a rotary. that why i want to know if its even worth doing this and if anyone has gotten gains.

Quoted directly from the FAQ:

Can I swap a Turbo engine/Jspec engine/13BT/etc into my Non Turbo?
Yes, check these links:
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=26647
http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/ro...conversion.htm

What Turbo kits can I add onto my non turbo RX-7?
There are no longer kits formally made at the time of this post, however there are companies from time to time that do make available non turbo to Turbo Kits. Because most of these companies stop building the kits, or go out of business in short time, it is impossible to keep active links for them.

Most people that turbo a non turbo make their own kits:
Using the stock TII turbo, exhaust manifold with spacer, NA intakes and NA ECU:
