I have been reading up all those thread about having to keep the MAF mounted on the original level because of the flap and gravity.


What i want to know is if i can relocate the MAF but keeping it on level (with a leveler on top then remount it with a custom bracket) instead of mounting it in the original position of the air filter box.


Because i have couple things mounted around the front passenger side shock tower and the HKS filter doesn't seem to fit in that angle as well. When i bought the car back then, the original bracket for the air filter box is already gone.

 

as long as it is level it doesn't matter where you mount it.
