Hey guys I RTV'd my S4's lower intake on because when I did my auxilary port cleanup I didn't have time for a gasked to be shipped and the stock one just kinda shattered. Now that I am dismanteling the whole car I can't get it to separate. I am 99% sure I have all the bolts out that hold it. IIRC it is only four that hold the LIM on right?

no there are 5 bolts and 2 nuts. there are 1 in each end then 1 in the middle. the the 2 nuts are in between the runners.

 

if you have all the bolts and nuts out, i'd just tap it with a rubber mallet and work your way around until it comes loose.

 

If it's red RTV, it likes to stick pretty good. That's a good thing really, until you wanna get it off...

Taking all the bolts out would probably help even more...

What on earth? oh my S5 lim there are 4 bolts and 2 nuts. one in each corner, and 2 nuts in the middle area (lol)
