S4 Ignition coil wiring
Hey guys, long time s4 NA swap into my FB, just getting around to wiring...
I'm just unsure of which wires are for what..
From what I've gathered,
Red are 12v switched
Tan are 12v Signal
Black is ground
the others (yellow, grey (probably ground), and white) I'm not entirely sure which hook up where on the harness.
I have the pinout sheets and can't match them up since all the diagrams I have only list the actual harness colours, which are not the same as the wires before the connectors.
1M - Trailing
1U - Trailing select signal
1V - Leading timing signal
1X - Trailing timing signal
Which also has me confused due to the lack of 3 other wires in limbo.
(also where can I buy same style connectors so I don't have to hack up the coil wires?)
Thanks

trailing coil:
In your 1st pic if the color of the wires are Yellow, White, Black and Red then it is as follows. Yellow->Yellow/Blue, White->Brown/Yellow, Black->Blue/Red, and Red->Blue/Yellow.
lead coil:
In the 2nd pic the Black wire in a bullet connector is a diagnostic port used to connect to a tach. The Red wire goes to the Green/Yellow wire while Tan feeds the Black/Yellow wire (switched voltage, voltage w/key to on and start).
