s4 harness or s5 harness...? tricky tricky

ok, my car wont start. something is teling the front rotor primary injector to go bonkers and its not something i can swap.

i think the harness is bad so...

i have a 91 engine with a mechanical omp in a 88 car with 88 wiring and ecu.
no emissions and a non functioning vdi system
car made 165 whp non poorted. so i know it worked right like that.

but if im changing out the harness... should i use the 88 and deal with it

of do a full s5 swap. ecu injectors afm dash harness ect.?

a s4 harness + about 50 bucks, 3 days and 2-3 hours swap time.

s5 = 2-300 bucks 4-5 days and prolly 8 hours swap time.

but that gives me a new cas afm all sensors relays plugs ect. plus if i reinstall the solenoid rack i get vdi and 5/6 ports if i put an air pump back on it.

so what do i do. its my only car and im bumming rides till its fixed

also what would i need to change as well, would the coil packs plug up? cruise control, starter, ect?
what all am i looking at?

I'd run the 88 harness. It's going to be much simpler. The S5 electrical swap is going to be a headache especially since you are already using a mechanical OMP.
