so i just finished in swapping a new motor into my 86 gxl and im having trouble getting it to start. The starter was good when i took the old motor out. i just removed the motor without the trans. so tonight i got everything hooked up, jumped in and tried to start it. no crank. starter wont spin.

and then on the body harness by the ecu there is one lone black plug that isnt plugged in. does anyone have an idea to where that goes?

this is my first rx7, and its giving me alot of hassle lol any help would be nice

 

check cables and grounds... check the small wire that runs down to the starter and see if it gets 12+ volts when you turn the key...
