S4 FC Radio Question
I bought the stock FC in-dash with the radio, tape player and CD player. I was wondering how do I take out my current in-dash and put in the new one? Oh and it's coming with an amp. too, so how do I get that in? Picture explanation would be awesome.

Remove the shifter bezel.
Two screws behind the ash tray.
Very VERY carefully remove the center vents. They break very easily if you even think about forcing it in any way. There are 4 press in snaps behind the center vents bezel, one each on either side of the vents themselves, and one each on either side and about mid-level to the tape player. You'll need a small L shaped tool such as a bent ice pick to slide behind the bezel at all four of these locations and gently pull until you feel each of the snaps release.
Once this bezel is removed, there are two short screws pointing slightly upward at the top of the bezel opening. Remove them and the radio bezel will release enough for you to reach behind the cigarette lighter to pull off electric connector to the cigarette lighter and twist off the illumination bulb holder. Those off, pull the bezel the rest of the way off and set aside.
There are 4 brass colored screws, 2 top and 2 bottom of radio mounting bracket. Remove them, and the radio slides forward to expose the electrical connectors and the two radio antenna connectors. Unplug them, and slide the radio out.
Connect the connectors and antenna's to the new radio, slide in and install in reverse order as outlined above.
Good luck.

I can't figure out the wiring. They don't look the same on both the radios, eventhough they are both stock S4 radios. One the CD/Cassete/Radio and the other is only the Cassete.

Details would be nice or mabey a clean photo. If your talking about a diff in the color of the wires from the Aftermarket head unit compared to the ones in the dash then yea. If you still have the factory plug attached then go get a pigtail, then you can match the colors.

Okay, the radio that I took out, you know how it's hooked up in there? There's the AUX wire and all that. And those wires don't match the other stereo's input plugs I'm trying to put in. The plugs are different sizes and shaped. The wiring harness is different, is what I'm trying to say.
