well i just pulled out of the speedway gas station from getting a pack of smokes, went to dart out into traffic and i bottomed out my car, (its slammed on tein coilovers) then i try to accelerate and my cars seems to have lost most power on the low end, bogs harder than usual around the 3800-4k mark. and now after 4k my exhaust has a higher pitch than normal and has a lose of power on the top side, my intake did end up falling off the front of the afm but never came off the tb, now my intake is all good but car is still running like crap and cant figure it out. please rx7 gurus i need your help

 

squashed the exaust if u ask me u say u bottomed out and ur exhaust is higher pitch. sounds about right try to get it on a lift and plan on buying a new pipe

 

no i didnt bend the exhaust i got under the car and the exhaust is just fine, it just scraped the bottom of the subframe a bit

 

pinch a fuel line? Check the wiring to the sensors on the trans also, they sometimes hang pretty low.

 

got it figured out, i must have gotten to low of grade (87) octane at the gas station or it was a bad batch, i put some v power in it today and it purred like a kitten after about 5 miles of driving.
