Arrow S4 control arm stamping identification confusion

Hi all.
I pulled off my front control arms on my s4 t2 and can't find any information about which part numbers go to which side. After cleaning and installing the new bushings it appears that the arms could be installed on either side but I don't think that is the case. I at a stand still until I can figure this out.
The only stampings on the arm are 4-2 FU. And 6-1 FP.
I called my local mazda parts and the long part numbers they provided gave me no insight into which side was which. Please help!

Thanks

I don't believe that it matters. Pretty sure they are stamped the same

They are definitely stamped differently but appear to be identical otherwise. Still searching for an answer

t appears on one side the ball joint would be angled more towards the rear of the car and if the control arm is flipped as if to mount it on the other side the ball joint would be angled further towards the front of the car. But maybe I have just spent too much time trying to figure this out today.

What you are describing is impossible. If you flip the arm from one side to the other how it would be mounted on the car, the ball joint faces the same direction mounted on either side.

You are thinking about this too much.

the only way I see it not working is if you put the ball joint on the wrong way, which I'm pretty sure they only go on one way

Mazda lists different part numbers for the L & R
FB0134310B LOWER CNTRL ARM, RIGHT
FB0134360B LOWER CNTRL ARM, LEFT

So, it looks like Turbonut beat me to posting the p/n's.

Left and right arms are not the same. They have different p/n's. Arm (R) Lower FB01-34-310B and Arm (L) Lower FB01-34-360B. The numbers that are stamped on the arms have no bearing on the p/n.
