S4 boost sensor on an S5
S4 boost sensor on an S5
Does anyone know if I can use the S4 boost sensor from the Non-turbo on an S5 non-turbo. The mazda parts diagram has them as different part numbers, but are they compatible? TIA.
probably not, but if you have them laying around, I'd try.
FWIW, the boost sensor doesn't /really/ do a whole lot. The vacuum line alwasys was coming off on my car and the car ran fine without it.

Series four has four wires going to/from it.
Series five has three wires going to/from it.
The *extra* wire on a series four is a 12vdc input.
See the online wiring diagrams. Maybe add that 12vdc to the connector where it would be on a series four plug and have a go at it.

Add 12dc wire to the place in the jpg I attached.
