s4 aux ports
ok....quick question. i gotta get those sleeve things out of my old motor and into the new one....only prob is im not sure what way they face. any help?? i know when im looking at the block with the IM off they are slanted but i dont know where the opening is soppose to be. please let me know...thanks.

ill look but it seemed to me at first glance that you can flip em upside down and it would fit fine too.....but i have no clue...thats why im askin...but ill check it out. thanks.

it's given in the Service Manual, which you can download here:

these sleeves CAN be put in incorrectly, however there are really only two positions that they will fit. so either you get it right or you don't.
but IIRC, looking from the passenger side of the engine bay, the rear sleeve is at 1 o'clock and the front sleeve is at 11 o'clock
