We are not going to make an N/A version, the S4 TII adapter should work fine. If someone with an S4 N/A whats to stop by the shop we will install a PFC and test it.

Man, I am so excited about this... when I got the e-mail about it I was really happy. It's cool that you guys at Banzai gave FC lovers another option to tune their cars to perfection. I'll hopefully be ordering one of these within the next 2-3 months.

We have the BAC, being controlled by the ISC (idle speed control) output, which means that you will be able to choose the rpm at which it idles when there is load ie the headlights on will kick the idle up to 900rpm

There are rumors that the AP unit will not control the BAC, but I do not know how true the are.

i have 2 questions.

someone on an earlier post asked about using an S5 TPS and you said you could do it. how is it done?(i mean how is it wired)

i have a GM map sensor, but i dont know what kind it is. how do i tell if it is 2 or 3 bar?

if you could answer these questions i will probably buy a harness from you fairly soon.

Easiest way would be to install an S5 TB. You would also need the maying connector for the TPS from an S5 harness. You would have mate it to the appropriate wires, then run a single wire to teh output on our adapter labeled FRT (full range throttle).

If your map sensor doesn't have a part number on it I have no idea what you have. I suppose you could attempt to supply voltage and vacuum/boost to determin readings, it would be far easier to spend the $60 on a GM 3-bar map sensor.

Well you could post them up and/or Google them but that might be too easy.

I do not know what you have, the GM 3 bar part numbers are:
12223861 (new style)
16040749 (old style)

If your trying to find one on the cheap, look for a 2000-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with the supercharger in the junkyard. They had 3 bar sensors from the factory

qucik ? do i need resistors for this as i have an S4 (pre mid year change) with the low imp. injecotrs. and if im not mistaken the S5/S6 use high imp. but it is also my understanding that the pre 87.5 S4 has a risistor pack for the injectors so either high or low imp work no problem..is this true? and if so where is that resistor pack in the ECU or external that? cause i see a resistor pack in my engine bay (not the fuel pumps as that was relocated when i rewired it) and dont know what it is.....

If the car has the resistor pack then there is no need to install additional reisitors.

No, all the piggyback items are rendered useless. No need for S-afc, FCD etc. The PFC can even control boost with the addition of the Apexi boost control kit. Just to recap for people that do not feel like reading 10 pgs, the PFC eliminates the Stock ECU, afm, boost sensor, S4 knock control box and wires in to prime the fuel pump when the key is turned forward without the need for an additional relay.

So the fuel pump comes on when the key is in the "On" position regardless of if the car's running or not?

Also, does it matter if I have high or low impedence injectors?

i believe not the pre 87.5s that had the low imp. inj had a resistor pack from the facotry and as long as ur using the same harness (which u have to do) ull be fine! and then 87.5+ all come with high imp. if i remember correctly!!!

The pump will prime just like an S5 or FD. The stock S4 does not prime the pump. If you have an 87 with the resistor pack you can run low impedence. The 88 with high impedence is fine however if you install larger low impedence injectors then resistors are required.
