first off i have a 86 base model with a stock open diff. i recently just picked up a clutch type LSD from a GLX or GTU i don't know, i just know it's for the 7 inch ring gear. i plan on swapping it into my stock case and i'm wondering if the stock axles and axle snubs can be used. does anyone know? thanks

 

Yep, just throw it in the case and plug in all of your existing hardware and you'll be set.

 

Depending on the clucth disc's condition you might need to rebuild your lsd. If it is all worn out then it will feel just like your open diff.
