S-AFC vs. F-CON...help needed.
I am wanting to know the pros and cons of both. Id like some feedback from folks with either of these. I am looking into buying one and want to make sure I get the right one. thanks in advance for the help!

I had a f-con on my turbo 2. I would recommend using both at the same time.
HKS F-CON
Pro: Fuel according to rpm AND boost levels, set a little rich for safety reasons, guaranteed fuel map up to 15 psi
Con: Does not consider what kind of mods you have in your car, can't compensate for different size injectors
APEX'i S-AFC
Pro: Adjustable according to the mods you have, show vital info of your cars, allows you to use slightly bigger injectors
Con: It's dependant on RPM ONLY! Does not know the difference between WOT and 50% throttle.
I would get the F-CON first as a safety mod and then get the S-AFC to fine tune the fuel map according to your mods.

OK, now price, i looked at the super afc and the MSRP was 419 bucks. i headed over to the HKS website and the F-CON was 1240 dollars!!!??? is that right? if so i just made up my mind, if i wanted to spend in excess of a thousand dollars id go haltech or wolf. someone tell me i read something wrong or looked at the wrong part!

This debate used to always pop up on the old TeamFC3S.Org list all the time.
IMO, the HKS PFC F-CON is overpriced.  The S-AFC does all the things the F-CON does + HKS GCC for another $400.  HKS lost a LOT of money due to the A'pEXi S-AFC being more price conscious.
The added boost sensor doesn't mean squat.  The S-AFC, when tuned right, will give you more flexibility to your vehicle.
Don't bother with the F-CON - it's a waste of money.  Go with the S-AFC, and be happy you're got several HUNDRED dollars to spend on something else...

Nothing to see here.
What sort of HP gains can you expect from an s-afc on an N/A with minor mods? I like the idea of having control over the a/f and not having to rely on the OEM ecu—I think my electric toothbrush has more computing power!
