s-afc questions

Ok I searched and searched, don't worry. I need alot of help installing the s-afc. Can anyone make it simple for me? Like this:

S-AFC_________________ECU

red____________________A(whatever color it goes to)
green__________________B
yellow__________________C
ect____________________ect

Can anyone do that for me? I've searched, went on fc3s.org but he just tells you what all but three of the wires from the s-afc go to, not which specific wire they need to be tapped into. And he left out 3 wires. And I can't look on apex's site because I have a problem with adobe ****. And I even downloaded it and it worked for a day then stopped again. I got the car apart and am all ready to start splicing wires. Thanks.

It's really easier than you think. I simplified It (Occums Razor) and did It In less than an hour. Besure to put the Brown ground closer to the ECU than the Black ground, both run splice Into the same wire.

When you start your car, the S-AFC will run under default settings. So you can drive It around 'till you dyno It. Follow this simple pic:

The MAIN problem is I don't know which wires are which on the ECU. The only thing I DO know is some of the wires on the S-AFC harness and thats from fc3s.org and even there they leave out 3 of them.

Oh thanks man, before I replied that pic didn't show up. Thanks. Now what about the orange, pink, and blue wires on the s-afc harness?

That pic simplifies everything. With the extra non used wires, I simply cut off the male bullet connectors wrapped each Individual one up than I wrapped ALL the none used ones up, than I folded It In half and wrapped It along the length of the rest of the used wires. Talk about precise.

Back In my amateur "How did you Install your S-AFC" days, I too asked the same question. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...highlight=safc

OK, so I don't use the orange, blue or pink, cool. Now on that pic it says "air flow signal." Now the yellow wire from the s-afc is supposed to go to the "air flow/pressure signal OUTPUT" and the white one is supposed to go to the "air flow/pressure INPUT." So where do these go? Thanks alot for your help.

Yellow: Air flow meter output (ECU side)
White: Air flow meter input (AFM side)

Man I feel like an idiot with all these questions.

OK, I'm sorry but I still don't know where to put the yellow and white exactly. On the diagram it only has 1 place for an air flow signal. Which goes on that wire? And where exactly does the other go?

Sorry for sounding slow. Maybe I am just missing what your trying to get across. Thanks.

Okay, based on the diagram on where the AFM Is to be (I forgot the colour). Now you have It In your hand, right? Cut It In half. You now have to ends, right? You solder on the Yellow wire to the end closest to the ECU. You now have to worry about the other end of the wire you have cut. So you solder the White Wire on It. This would be the other end of the wire that leads FARTHEST from the ECU, towards the AFM.

So ultimately your have a wire (from the ECU) cut with 2 wires (from the S-AFC) joined to each end.

Now quit wasting time and warm up that soldering gun.

Now thats the simple terms I like, lol. So just cut the air flow wire in half and put the input to the AFM side and the output to the ECU side. Got it.

Now about the soldering gun, I'm not using one. I just use some connectors. They have always worked for me and thats what I used for my TT. Hopefully it will work out fine. Thanks alot.
