S-afc???
Help me out guys? What's an S-AFC? The guy at the mazda shop says that the TII injectors will help it rev more smoothly all the way through up to 8K+ True or False? When you're saying 200hp at the wheels, that's like 230hp at the flywheel right? I'm really new as you can tell. Also, won't a 90 engine (S5?) be more powerful than the guy who posted above me 87 engine (S4?). So many questions...Teach me....I've been reading old posts alot so I don't ask dumb questions>

Look here for info on the s-afc:

Don't listen to whatever Mazda guy that told you that about the injectors. NAs typically run pretty rich and it takes a hell of alot to need larger injectors. Plus, how would it allow you to rev smoother or to a higher RPM?
Typical drivetrain loss for horsepower is 15%.
A 90(S5) NA engine made 160HP to the flywheel. An 86 NA(S4) made 146. The actual cars weights pretty much make up for the difference, speed-wise.
