RX8 or S5 Rotors in S4?

So do the RX8 rotors fitted into an S4(n/a) create better gains than S5? Ive heard mixed reviews about this but now I am considering buying one or the other. All I know is the RX8 rotors have a 10:1 compression ratio.

make sure you are using the correct front counter weight and flywheel...if high compression is what you are looking for the rx8 rotors are highest...if you are looking for a cheaper alternative the s5 has higher compression than s4.

If you can get the S5 non turbo rotors, you are better off using them, as you won't have to worry about port timing changes (reni rotors use Chamfered edges for timing and reduced build up in the side ports) and using the thinner Apex seals (or machining the rotor to fit the older apex seals) that you would with the 13BMSP rotors.

Racing Beat did a swap with them a couple years back and found the reni rotors were almost too much work for the small gains that the lighter rotor gave you.

apex seals would be getting replaced at same time as i would have rotors put in during rebuild.

No modding required on the rotors, just make sure you use a S5 front and rear counterweight.
