Should my stock Rx7 be geting beat bad by V6 mustangs? I put a 87 motor in a 86 body dunno if that makes and diffrence. Thanks

No not by a v6, even if you're NA (what year mustang cuz the new 2005+ are pretty good). My stock 86 NA could beat my friends 1992 5.0L Mustang off the line and not get *** kicked "bad". But I still lost (but that will stop once my swap is done this week). So no you should be getting beat "bad" by a v6 mustang(xcept the 2005+).

 

damn...my millenia s used to rape v6 mustangs every day. well not everyday but it was easy as pie.

 

Mustang's ratio of power-to-weight is so ridiculous it makes Gary Coleman look like a clown in terms of ratio.

i have a V6 automatic 2003 mustang and it feels about the same honestly untill you get above 4500 in the RX7 of course. Then it puts it to shame.

 

Yeah, I'm sure you'll do fine against it. If you don't win, you won't lose by alot...
