rx7turboII in my area

Since i have Really very little know how on how to fix engines( i am going to learn and am a fast learner)

i want an opinion on this car:

http://dallas.craigslist.org/car/345047193.html

it doesn't run, would it be a big job to get it up n running?

it is the only TURBOII i see in my area, and that is the only one I want.
if i'm gonna get a rx7 might as well be the turbo right?

Oh and it is true that some people are getting 20mpg on the turbo right?
if so i can live with that.
thats what i heard, but i don't feel like searching for it again when i can just ask for it right here.

From one new TurboII guy to another I can offer this advice. Read through the faqs and check out the free factory service manual on the net. See if the common problems are things that seem like you can handle. For serious work on any car, you'll need a good jack, spare tire jacks are not acceptable. ratchet set and wrench set. That should keep you covered for some good beginner work. Oh, screw drivers.

If you allready have those tools and your mechanically inclined, go for it! Otherwise I think I'd look for one that is together but maybe runs decent. Good luck, I hope that helps you.
