help car ran fine now idles like crap.

well my car was runign ok iv got an 87 gxl n/a and the voltage gauge started to randomly dive while driving and when u come to a stop the idle dove down almost to a stal but would cath itself and idle fine. so i took off the alternator and had it rebuilt. while it was off i pulled my 5 and 6 port actuators of and made new gasgets for them and cleaned and freed them up cus the were siesed closed. so i put it all back to gether and forgot to put the plug wires on the rear rotor then tired to start it it flooded naturally. realized what happened got it unflooded with the old foot to the floor trick and it seemed fine. idled good and ran good. i whent for a spirited drive to test the ports out and came to a stop and the car almost died aagin. so i figured better head home then as im crusing along the hole car starts to buck and shudder. then its fine. when im downshifting the car makes a funny noise and is poping in the exahust a lot. and it still tried to die at stop sighns. so i get home and it barley idles. it sounds like a fully camed up v8 race motor.it revs up no prob but hard to idle. it is not hard to start at all either. when it fires up it idles high for a sec like its suposed to then it idles normally for about 45 seconds when its hot and then sounds like the v8. it idles rough for a minute or so till it dies. help please. dont understand it ran fine moments ago. and i was readin some posts and if it were a vac leak would that sound like a slight wistle when u rev it up and let of the throttle. any help would be appreciated.
