has anyone bought anything from rx7store.net I ordered a clutch kit from them and its been on back order for a while. They said they should have it in a week but it's already been over 2 weeks. How long does it usually take for a place like that to get something that is on back order?

 

I had the exact same problem. i ordered an ACT clutch. waited, waited. finally i got sick of it and called them. they said they would ship it asap. well I waited 2 weeks and finnally got it. but when i opened it up there were no bearings or clutch anignment tool in the kit. i called them up again. and said they were sorry and they would ship the bearings that day, and express them to me. well a week pasted and, no bearings. i called them again, and they said that they wernt goin to ship them because the shipping company must have lost them, they said i had to file a lost goods complaint with UPS. After repeeated threats and complaining i got them to ship them to me. got them a week later. so total i waited a whole month for all of my parts to arrive that were supposedly "in stock". i will never buy anything from them again, and wouldnt recomend them to anyone.

I dont know how long it will take but when I tried to order the act street strip clutch like a month ago, it was on backorder then. I had to go to rotary preformance to get it and of course they charged me an arm and a leg and it wasnt even for a full clutch kit, it was just the pressure plate and disc. So um yeah in conclusion i dont know how long it will be

 

From what i'v here! "all act clutchs are on back order for a while. My roommate works for a shop here in colorado that is a dealer for act. I'm trying to get a dual disk! with no luck.

 

i ordered my ACT street/strip clutch thru Rallispec about a month ago and it came in about two weeks ago. they specialize in Subarus(my other car) but they are an authorized ACT dealer so i decided to order thru them. i got it complete, everything that was supposed to be included was included. check out www.rallispec.com for contact info. ask for Dave. great guy!

 

I think the problem is that most of the stuff I ordered from the store is shipped from the manufacture. So that is going to happen. Not sure how much stuff is stocked.
