I have a 1991 rx7 that I am having trouble with. Car was running great stopped at traffic light and engine went dead and now it will not idle or even pull off. It has been to 2 different shops with no help. They have checked compression with a standard gauge with the valve out and front cylinders are at 60 and back cylinders are at 60 - 80. Fuel pressure is at 40 cranking and ign. is firing on all cylinders. Can anyone give me any help other taking to high dollar dealer?

 

your compression numbers are low, you should find a rotary specific shop to take it to for proper diagnosis.
