I got the parts cleaned(i forgot i lived near mazdatrix) and are readyto put in. Also, the lower manifold gasket looks like it doesn't fit at the bottom. Can i still use it?

Looks like it fits to me.

What do you see wrong with it?

That bottom open square part extends farther out the the manifold itself. As if it went for a turbo one. But ill see if i can make it work.

Also, i want to seal it with a sealant, but ive read to not use rvt silicone for intake manifold gasket.

If you've already block sanded the manifold flanges flat (and if not, why?), you don't need RTV and a gasket...that's overkill.
I use OEM paper gaskets with heavy grease smeared on both sides (just a light coat).
The grease doesn't seal anything but helps keep the gasket from ripping when removed.

the lower port doesn't matter, mazda doesn't make an S4 gasket any longer, they just use the S5 for everything which has that port on the manifold and block for air injection.

don't use RTV, it isn't necessary and will just disrupt airflow when it squeezes into the ports.

Hey guys been busy, but here goes.

I put all the parts on, found out i still had a couple of vacuum leaks, so i pluggrd them up. Also, the timing was off, so i readjusted the distributor.

So, the car turns and stays on. But the idle is a bit rough, and theres a little high pitch grinding when i go past 2500 rpms. Also, the crossmember bushing is busted, if that helps.

As a heads up, re-install the BAC if that hasn't been mentioned. My car had all the emissions removed by the previous owner and I had to hold the gas until the car warmed up or it wouldn't idle. I reinstalled the bac and it's appropriate plumbing and the car idled fine by itself after.
