rx7 still wont start and fuel injectors pump with out relay

ok so i just fixed the air flow meter but it still wont start.. the relay fuse that you normally pull if it floods isnt even plugged in but the injectors are pumping when you try to start.. its not stuck on ON but when you movepush the door of the air flow meter to make it seem like air is goin in you will obviously notice the injectors pumping ... so in other words i cant find out how to turn them off to deflood it ..

The fuse you normally pull for de-flooding is the EGI fuse. It supplies power to the ecu. Not the fuel pump. ECU will only fire the injectors when the crank angle sensor is spinning and the ECU is powered up. If you open the flapper on the AFM, the fuel pump will pump fuel to the injectors. The injectors don't pass fuel unless the ECU tells them to.

To de-flood the car, pull the EGI fuse and use a vacuum port on the passenger's side of the intake manifold to suck up some thin oil into the engine. Once you hear the compression build, put everything back together and re-start.
