I have an 88 rx7 and sad to say not turbo.

and i been trying to save money up ever since i got the car to swap in turbo ii engine, but thats not working out soo much as I planned.

1.. becasue turbo ii go for $1,200 which sucks.
2. rx7 is my everyday car, i'm spening 100 dollars on gas and oil all the time.

so what are cheap, and easy mods, do it myself stuff to make my n/a a little bit more better, and more horspower without needing to go rebuilds and bridge-ports.

 

If you wanted a "fast car" you shouldnt have bought a n/a rx7. Dont get me wrong, mines n/a and i love it! But this is my point, if you like it you will keep it. What do you have done to it already? What model is it? After a full tune up start with exhaust and intake....it helps a good amount on the "butt dyno'.

also ididn't buy the car for power.. i brought it becasue i wanted something more stronger, I got sick and tired of wasteing time on piston motors that just threw rods all day long... I wanted a changed, i wanted stronger, i wanted a rotary, that never really truely can die. thats why the main reason why i got it.

Secrets and tips: You have already installed the best bangs for the buck, which are exhaust and intake. You are not in the financial position to sink a lot of money into your car, and it would be stupid to do so. Save your money for repairs, which I guarantee you will be an issue sooner or later, and probably sooner, lol. Whenever you have extra money, put it in a money market account.

FYI typical RX-7 show cars and race cars have about $30,000 to $250,000 in modifications. If you want a really nice car, I suggest spending your money on education or seed money for a business. Your best bet is to work on a MBA, and you can get started on that at your local community college or junior college for a fraction of the cost of a major university. You could also just take enough classes to be able to start your own business if you don't want to spend much time in school.

The non-turbo FC RX-7 is the most practical RX-7 ever made. Be happy with what you have, as it is a very nice car.
