The don't have the turbo II, gtu..etc in jap. b/c they're all turbos. They have GTX, R, Limited, infintiy III, IV don't know what they were equiped with. the infinity was top of the line sport with sport seats strut braces 16 bbs mesh. gt limited had all the lux type things: leather power everything etc.

Skeery...
GT-R, GT-X, GT-Limited, Cabriolet were the different models.
I think there is one more, but I forget - look into any HyperREV for the full list.
The Infini I, II, III, IC were special edition models that were stripped down racers - no power anything and lighter weight.

from my understanding....

GT-R is the S4 Turbo series in Japan (they dont say TII)
GT-X is the S5 Turbu Series in Japan (they dont say TII either)
Cabriolet is the convertable in Japan (since there was no NA engines in Japan for FC's, i assume that Cabriolet is the convertable turbo version)

i dunno about GT-Limited

But Infini I, II, III, IV as Ted said, were FC's that had lighter weight and manual everything with a little more power (215hp) from a higher flowing cat.

That is incorrect.
They do not denote model years.
