Rx7 Idle Issue (yes TPS was adjusted)

Ok guys here is a video for what Im having an issue with

The car runs and driver perfectly, right up until the point where it gets into full operating temp. once it gets to temp the idle likes to stick high to about 1500 rpms, BUT i can get it to settle back down if I drag the engine down with the clutch and brake.

was wondering if a thermowax could cause something like this

P.S. sorry about the shitty quality Vid, also i know my oil pressure gauge is broken

Are the vacuum lines okay? Have you tested the thermowax, it's pretty easy to do. When you made adjustments on the TPS did you do it with the car warm?

Yes, the thermowax could do this and is probably the most likely culprit.
It is easy to test (assuming you consider removing the throttle body "easy"), just pour ice water and boiling water through the hoses to extend/contract the nipple and set the cam accordingly.

With the throttle body removed, might as well check the plates/shafts for smooth operation as well as the cable. There is also the secondary dashpot to look at.

If the problem persists, next thing I'd do is test/replace the thermosensor.
