RX7 and cosmo driveshafts are maintainable!
I make swap AT to MT on my JC Cosmo. I bought Turbo2 FC driveshaft and MT on yahoo. The problem was: how to join FC front flange to cosmo driveshaft. I choose to disassemble U-joints and assemmble different shafts together with new aftermarket U-joint. I bought two U-joints GKN with common cap diameter 24mm, but different length. 64,5 - first, 74,5 - second, 68-70 - FC. The first was too small. The second is too big, but the end caps was the same on all U-joint (FC too)!
I disassembled FC U-joint and assembled it with new caps and seals from new U-joints.
I used hydraulic press and grip vice and made custom shaft!
All parts was about 30 bucks.
