RX7 convertible tail-light problems

Just recently I became the owner of a 1988 rx7 convertible. I've always wanted this car for a long time and I am glad I finally have one. I've been driving It a while now, everything has worked fine, until Just recently. I admit, I am a Noob at the rx7, but I bought it to learn about it (not to mention have fun!). Anyway, I noticed the brake lights aren't working yesterday, none of them and have been trying to fix it. I have checked the fuse, and it was ok, then I checked and replaced all the bulbs, and still nothing. What I would like help on is what are the wire colors that I should be worried about? Are There any relays that can cause the problem? Where are the brake-light related grounding wire points on the car?
I am replacing the brake light switch tomorrow and hoping that it works. It would be apreciated if anyone can help! Thnx!

I hate to say it, but sounds like you need to get a volt meter and start tracing the connections. Haynes has a good wiring diagram in the repair book for the 88.

Most of the time if all the brake lights are not working, the brake light switch on the brake pedal is either out of alignement or disconnected.

the second thing to look at is the CPU in the drivers kick panel, having a disconnected or bad CPU.
