Rx7 89 with a 93 twin turbo engine?

Is it possible to put a 93 twin turbo engine on a 89 rx7? If not would it be better to get an engine swap to a stock tII or just put turbo on the car?

Anything's possible but putting an REW in a 2nd gen takes a lot of work and custom this and that. IMO its more work than its worth to get 250 stock hp. But yeah member's have done it. You might wanna search but it has been done

Pretty soon the thread will probably get closed because its been asked a billion times. Anyways, its easier to drop a 20B in a FC than it is a 13B REW. And cheaper I've heard. You would have to custom fit the mounts because they are in different places. If you have that much time and money, a 20B fits nicely into an FC. Its the least amount of trouble as far as any of the generations go when it comes to dropping a 20B in.

Ah yes a 20B. now thats worth the time and effort. I helped swap a 20B into an FC about a year ago. Only really hard part was wiring up and tuning the mega-squirt engine management into it which took just the better part of a day. the rest was straight forward actually believe it or not
