RX-8 ALT in FC

RX-8 ALT in FC
So I have a spare alternator from an engine job I did on an 8 a while back, and I was looking at this thing... has anyone put one of these in an FC?
Experiences?

I have an S5 in my S4 right now... but other than the chassi of the alt being a little different (plug is located on the bottem) I don't see any differences...

the RX8 alt does not have an internal voltage regulator, so in short no, but if you could find a external regulator then yes

Which makes this a not-so-convenient swap, IMO.
The output is nothing exceptional, so why bother?
