RX-7 TurboII idle issue
First off, I own a 1988 stock turboII.
My problem is when I start it up and it's cold it will idle 1500 for a little while. Then when it's warm it'll idle normal for a few seconds then try and die (Unless I apply gas).
I have a good feeling the TPS is off, or bad but I dunno if that's the whole issue?
Does anyone have a diagram on where it's at and how to adjust it?
If by an off chance it is bad, does anyone have a decently cheap one to replace it?
THX

Start here:http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/idle.html.
Then here: http://fc3spro.com/TECH/HOWTO/TPS/tps.html.
Also download a free copy of the factory service manual from the link in the FAQ. And/or get a Haynes manual.
New TPSs cost around $300.00. Of course, you can probably pick up a used one for much less on eBay or on this forum in the Classisied section. But, you have no way of knowing if the used unit is working correctly. So, you pays your money and you takes your chances.

TPS's are all over the place. Buy one that you see is tested as working and that should get you going.
The FSM is actually very important to have, especially when trying to test if the TPS is good.
