New rebuild can't get running

bought a 87 RX7 with a fresh rebuilt 13b non-turbo hasnt ran. It turns over nice tries to fire rightoff then nothing and floods out. Tried MMO/ATF thing and it did start right up but had to keep it above 2,000rpm or would die. No start otherwise. Emissions controls, a/c, and p/s off. Has spark, fuel pump is good, new fuel filter, plugs and wires, thermo switch, fpr, vacums good, compression test showed about 105 for each. Add coolant warning light and buzzer comes on. Please help.

Coolant light and buzzer just means you have a nice size bubble in there you will have to burp her to get her to shut up. I do this by parking my car facing down hill in my drive way and removing the radiator cap and the filler cap on the top for the thermostat housing. I pour into the radiator until full (bleeder plug is also out for this part) once fluid is coming out of the bleeder I replace the screw and move to filling up at the thermostat housing, all the while I'm repeatedly squeezing to water inlet hose to "burp" out any air stuck in there.

As for start up pull your spark plugs and crank the engine for about 30- 45 seconds to relieve any flooding that may have built up. replace the plugs and I bet she will fire up for ya!!!

Pull start it. Ignition on, pull about 15 mph and pop the clutch in 3rd gear. Drag it until she starts. Use a long enough rope that you don't kiss bumpers.
