RX-7 Turbo Question

I searched the forums a bit, but had trouble finding the answer I was looking for. I'm in the process of buying an '86. I'm new to the rotary engine.

I'm also new to the idea of turbo (and high performance in general). I would like to install a turbo, but am honestly clueless on where to begin. What is the price range I am looking at and what are some suggestions on what I should go with? Would this be something I could aquire through a regular parts dealer?

I'm sure I'm going to get flamed for this, but like I said, I'm new to both, so I don't really know what I'm talking about yet when it comes to either one.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Check the FAQ at the top of this section......it will all be in there. Have you tried the "search" feature? Basically......start with a turbo RX7 or stay N/A since there are no actual turbo kits for the N/A. Welcome to the forum BTW.

Yep, read the "FAQ for FC" sticky found at the top of this section, before posting. It has the info you are looking for.
