The GTU was made for three years, 88, 89, 90 (although the 89, and 90 were GTU models in name only)

88 fenders will fit another 88 fine, while the 89-91 fenders have minor differences, but basiclly will work with minor modifications.

****! i don't want any adjustments. i want these things to bolt on and be perfect. i'm spending way to much on the body work and paint. do you have specifics on the adjustments?

lol like less then 1/4 of hole space.. if at most u MAY need to drill 1 new hole for the fender screw.. but 87-88 there supposed to be the SAME fender.. so u can prolly relax =D

i can build these motors for days, make minor modifications, but my knowledge is limited when it comes to wiring, and things of that nature. i wonder what kind of boost i can get away with on a stock 1990 turbo motor with 36,000 miles on it. i'm going for 15psi daily--jeremie

Most body shops will charge you for panel alignment when you r&r a panel anways. Since it sounds like you need new fenders anyways you should atleast get the oem parts since they will be easier to align than aftermarket.
