rx-7.5 GTU-R feasability ????

Hi Everyone. This is my first post. My question is would it be feasable to take the brand-new Renesis NA engine and drop it into my 89 GTU ???
I know not alot of info is out about it yet but I'm just looking for your thoughts and ideas. I know others must have thought of this as soon as the RX-8 was announced. Wouldn't it just be sick as all hell to have a 250 bhp NA engine in an Na 2nd gen

Also it will be a while before you cna order a crate motor. But then you get into the issue of will the NA drive train handle the power.

It's feasible, just not do-able yet. I'm sure it will be done too. I hope it doesn't cost $40,000 like a 20B conversion too. Of course there are a lot of things to consider besides just the motor. Computer, ignition, fuel injectors, fuel pump, throttle body, transmision, drive shaft, all the wiring that goes with it, etc..
I'd say that your best bet would be to buy an RX-8 and total it. Drop a tree across the top of it or something so you only mess up the body. Then buy it back and use all those parts.

It wouldn't be too hard if the 2nd gen NA tranny bolts up. Based upon what I've seen with my setup, I believe the NA drivetrain would be able to handle the hp and torque of the Renesis.
